I got around six predictions right in this year which is an improvement from last year. My predictions for this year are:

BBC - Gladiators to be a surprising hit. Holly Willoughby to present it with Bradley Walsh after the first series. More and more people however will stop paying the TV License fee which will inevitably mean more cuts in programming. Laura Kuenssberg to present the election.

ITV - ITVX will increase in viewership and income. They will retain all the 14 franchises they currently hold for the next 10 years. Carolyn McCall to leave as CEO due to possibly more scandals coming out. Tom Bradby to present the election. Jeopardy to be a success. Wheel of Fortune to be scrapped after one series.

S4C - Will be probably come under BBC ownership/stewardship and be rebranded to BBC Cymru. Huw Edwards to present the election.

Channel 4 - As always, more programmes to shock viewers. May aim for more sports broadcasting. Krishnan Guru-Murthy to present the election.

Channel 5 - They will retain their franchise for the next 10 years. Dan Walker to present more sports programming. More focus on UK primetime programmes.

UKTV (soon to be U) - Obvious rebrand of their channels. Not much change in terms of programming.

Sky - Will more than likely concentrate on their streaming services now that they have retained their sports and entertainment programming. Sophy Ridge to present the election.

WBD and Paramount - I thoroughly believe this merger will happen but I think it will mean more and more channels being sold off to the highest bidder mainly in the states.

Narrative Capital - Not much change but wouldn't rule out another channel being set up.

Disney - Will do well internationally but will suffer more losses in the states. May end up selling channels over there to supplement the loss of income.

GB News - Dan Wootton to finally leave. Eamonn Holmes to become a weekend presenter due to health issues. Anne Diamond to retire or like Eamonn do weekend work. Stephen Dixon to be the main breakfast host. The channel will probably introduce a rolling news programme between 3pm-6pm. Patrick Christys to be the main evening presenter permanently. Eamonn Holmes to present the election.

TalkTV - Will either be taken off TV screens or rebrand into Times News. Piers Morgan will leave for Fox News full time. Mike Graham to present the election.

That's TV - Will continue broadcasting classic programmes. May create new channels in the near future.

Local TV - To be fully bought out by News UK to go with the Talk or even Times rebrand but will continue regional news in partnership with National World.

LBC - Listenership will get stronger as the elections get nearer. May launch a streaming service in the future for primetime programming. Iain Dale to present the election.

TNT Sports - Will build on their current portfolio of sports programming. May be affected by the WBD-Paramount possible merger in the future.

Viaplay/Premier Sports - With the rebranding happening in 2024, Premier will look to rebuild from Viaplay's difficult year in sports broadcasting.

Random Predictions:

A new Welsh TV/streaming service to be set up separate from S4C.
A new FTA sports channel.
The Price is Right to come back.
Another news/current affairs channel to launch.
OFCOM to be replaced when Labour get into government.
