Interesting little tidbits. Ive noticed that since the self-immolation incident at the NYC Courthouse Trump case. I havent been watching every day....or had it on in the background. But it seems CNN more than the other channels, has heavily blurred the background than I remember when their correspondents are standing streetside. They have seemingly stopped using the streetside location to have the anchors the present their coverage. It makes sense for noise and for safety. Their decision to relocated has made so much more sense now as we approach the verdict stage. As it seems people are unhinged nuts these days, so you never know what can happen. FNC still has chairs set up on the corner for their "analysts" and the back its pretty clear across the street to the court house. MSNBC just had a correspondent walking around the square showing the unhinged protesting or supporting. Not sure if that really serves and purpose anymore.
CNN has secured a location on the opposite side of the Courthouse. Most of the worlds media are assembled in the square across the street called Collect Pond Park on Centre Street between Franklin & Leonard. CNN is located seemingly opposite the Courthouse from Columbus Park atop a small hotel on Mulberry Street...called Mulberry Hotel. It has to be, because its the only one with a glass balustrade as seen on air over looking the courthouse across from a park. The vast majority of the nearby buildings are government or courthouses jails etc. So its unlikely CNN would be allowed to access or set up a camera position in those locations. let me know if you agree. The top level of the small hotel seems to be penthouse and then another level above that.
