I think what is a shame is we've basically got 4 or so options essentially doing the same thing. There isn't really an obvious choice to go to if you want your coverage focused more on one aspect (i.e. live results, rolling headlines etc.) Indeed not sure if Sky or the BBC have any plans for extra streams beyond the linear streams - think Sky had behind the scenes coverage in the past.
Didn't LBC do something a bit more innovative in a recent election? Seems to be a more straightforward affair this time.
I wonder if Channel 4 ever considered a Big Breakfast style election reaction show? Or even the BB itself when it was still on air? A focus on reactions from real people, interviews with the likes of Count Binface and a down your doorstep angle would certainly be an alternative offering and might have gotten more younger people interested back in the day.
