Adding more sport rights needed for helping TV channels in future years???
#1

With BBC posting great ratings for it's summer of sports
Is adding more sports rights a way to keep the liner TV channels keeping viewers against all streaming rivals...

If all main networks actually teamed up and had bigger investment and a bigger bid to place in more sports rights could they actually bid for the bigger events and share them equally between them , therefore helping keep liner TV channels in good focus for the future?

Next year BBC won't have the summer of sports offerings it had this year so ratings comparison will no doubt show massive drop for BBC one and two over summer 2023.

What other sports events that are not beyond massive costs could be added to BBC, itv ,c4 if more joint bids were offered ?

More sports especially in summer would definitely help itv as it seems out of all channels to enter hibernation zone from early July till September every year.

What previous deals for champions League just one match per week is beyond being ever set up again.. is Amazon and sky beyond ever being challenged ever again for premium sports not just highlights?

What other sports rights are up for renewal later this year or next that would be great addition to the main networks and bring in ratings ?
