This pretty normal for NBC to go over the top on the Olympics. It's their marquee thing they've spent loads on money on. They usually even go out on the lead up and countdown to it. When the calendar flips to 2024, they'll haul out the NBC Peacock/ Olympics logo bug on screen in January. They'll also probably start doing even more heavy promotion mode in the fall, especially using Sunday Night Football. Plus the way the 2020+1 and 2022 Olympics had to be down scaled events, and more demure, they probably have penned up Olympics energy in them.
