CNNI morning output is just a full scale domestic overnight service now. From greeting their precious '' US viewers'' first to the night time London background used at 9am local time, it's all very clear....
Who cares if nobody had ever heard of him. He had a heart attack during a live broadcast of a game and when you get a heart attack at the tender young age of 24, it's a big deal no matter who you are. The fact the game was abandoned because of this makes it even more noteworthy.
I'm more concerned that he's okay. But saying that CNNI's priorities are out of whack just because they gave extensive coverage to something you obviously have no interest in, is just plain wrong, and let's face it, the war in Ukraine has been going on for 10 months now, and it's liable to be going on for at least a few more months and probably most of this year. I don't think it was wrong to cover something that was extraordinary in the circumstances and give it extensive coverage.
