BBC/ITV North West News

BBC Sport manage it a bit better - Wimbledon and the Euros having one listing for example, but then sub-categories splitting live programmes and highlight programmes, and further categories for any extras.

The network weekend bulletins another good template in a way. They're all grouped under BBC Wekend News, despite being branded as BBC News (or BBC News at 10 on Sunday night) on air.

Having been bought up on that I've never really been a fan of the Granada Reports brand but it's a bit of heritage they hang on to.

Granada Tonight was just for the main News Programme from January 1990 until October 2001 when the Programme relaunched as Granada Reports.

Granada Reports was used for all News Updates during the 1980s.

There was a period in the 80s when the short bulletins were branded "Reports News", which didn't make any sense.

Was that on bulletins or just during Granada Reports itself as I remember seeing that on the 18:00 edition?
