Practically setting it up to fail then. A shame as unlike most of their recent acquisitions this one actually fits the channel quite well.

Presumably not bought with that slot in mind so will get a better slot at some point. Seems quite a quick acquisition - not sure if the BBC have even repeated episodes themselves yet.

Looks like BBC One repeated the first series (March 2022) in February 2023.

I do like Bridge of Lies though so it will be great to finally get to see 2 year old COVID era episodes, with adverts, at 05:30 in the morning in SD. Well done Challenge.

It's the only episode currently showing on my digiguide.tv account which goes up to the 19th December.

Do they tend to show the kids Christmas ones as a block of 5/6 episodes (think one series didn't have one) over the period.

Every series of the original show bar the first one had a Christmas special (they were the first of the respective series they were attached to, so they'd appear at Christmas time (or near enough) and then the next series would follow a few months later. They effectively became a "tease" to show what sort of games were coming up.)
But usually when repeated Challenge keep those separate from the rest of the run. On occasion they're been mixed in, but the trend is to separate them out.

For quite a long time, they never used to show the Christmas episodes at all. Don't think it was until the second half of the 00s they started turning up.
