What Challenge have done is that they've managed to fit in a 30 minute episode that was intended to be broadcast under a 45 minute slot - into a half hour slot, and they made it fit by just not airing adverts. The show itself was barely edited, the only edit I've noticed was that they cut one of the break bits around the second half (It was around when they did Shoot from the Hip)
