Though of course Punch & Judy has been a thing for centuries, TV puppetry has clearly moved on from the days when Sooty consisted of having somebody's hand shoved up his arse and all the movements done from the inside.

It was nice to hear a clip of this on Ken Bruce’s final show, but definitely worth a listen back to when Rob Brydon presented an entire show *as* Ken for April Fool’s day in 2011.
