There is no announcements in time for the morning papers, so I expect tomorrow will be an interesting if not tumultuous day for the BBC.

MOTD2 similar to last night with no commentary
The Women's Football Show has no presenter or pundity but does have world feed commentary from the match that was shown live this lunchtime.
So how come they can't use world feed commentary for the PL but can for the WSL?

I see at the start of the women’s football show, the commentator was captioned as just “World Feed Commentary”
Not named presumably because he received abuse on his Twitter after he was named on the live game. People thinking he’d crossed the picket line.

The WSL has different rights compared to the Premier League. Do they normally use World Feed commentary for some of the highlights games anyway?

According to the listings on ICDB, last Sunday's show didn't, but they did on the 12 February show.

It’s probably just that with the men’s game being much more of a hot property the rights each broadcaster has is much more tightly controlled. You can show this, you can’t show that, you can only show this many minutes of highlights and only between these times etc etc. The women’s rights probably have far fewer restrictions as there are less broadcasters fighting for every scrap of any type of coverage.

The contracts signed are bound to be different. The premier league really is known to be very strict with its rights, the WSL likely less so- they're likely just to be happy to be out there on national TV and with a profile.

Gravity Media were still credited for producing The Women's Football Show, even if editorially it was similar to the BBC Sport MOTD2 production.

This is the problem with the BBC, what is produced internally or what is farmed out!

What’s the problem exactly? In this case it effectiveness made no difference.
