She wasn’t exactly known for being cosy, warm and cuddly on Watchdog either.

She was definitely playing a character of sorts in the early years, but in the later years of the 'Link after the novelty wore off she did loosen up and have a bit more fun with the contestants.

I'd say with Watchdog looking back it was more a case of you knew where you were when you were in her house. You played fair with her and didn't dodge the Inquisition and she played fair with you. It was when they who dodged the Inquisition and put up walls that the trademark whiplash tongue came out to play. Actually, it was quite refreshing to see the representatives of the various companies and organisations be open and honest from time to time admitting to being caught in the wrong. So in terms of TV Tropes character alignment I'd say she was a 'Lawful Neutral'.
For The Weakest Link she knew the format she needed to up her game so she moved down along one box into 'Lawful Evil' and that you knew she loved to play up that version of herself that she developed with the production team. Her Watchdog persona but to the ultimate Nth degree, with no holds barred and take no prisoners.

Doesn't TV Tropes get that from Dungeons and Dragons?

Well it does allude to it in the second paragraph:
Quote:The alignment system most roleplayers are familiar with is the one used in Dungeons & Dragons, which has appeared in a couple of different forms:

And it is how I view everything anyway. Even without knowing the D&D reference as I am more aware of it being used in general sci-fi / fantasy when placing characters in order of how to view them.

Challenge is showing a TBA on the Saorview EPG today in the Republic of Ireland.
Can anyone tell us what Challenge is displaying on other EPG's across the UK & Ireland?

www.sky.com is a mirror (near enough) of the Sky EPG. Whether it updates with the EPG I don't know, but I think its the same data.
There are no TBAs across Challenge (Channel 145) for today (Sunday) so this is probably just a temporary loss of metadata.
This happens on occasion.

An uninspired choice of gameshow to acquire, I must admit - but it will probably get the viewers in and fine for an afternoon audience. It won't be in any way, related to the idents or breakbumpers.

Well like Dickenson's Real Deal I wouldn't even say it's a gameshow.
