Talking of the backdrop, I see that they’re still using the summer version with the fully green trees, where usually they change to the autumn version from September.

This Morning does need a slight refresh in it's look - and remember I said a slight refresh - all shows need to be freshened up every couple of years. This currently look has been used since April 2018 when they moved into Television Centre's Studio TC3, and we are coming to the end of 2023, so it has served nearly six years, which would be the right time for a change.

As I have said before, nothing major, just change the furniture in the main set, and possibly alter the backdrop, as Brekkie said to make the windows less prominent.

It always amusing that certain people want change for things that work perfectly fine. The backdrop is IIRC 1000 hours worth of footage which can altered to suit the mood. Replacing the river view would make no sense.
