They still don't seem to have the ability to update the second line of text without having to pull the graphics down.
I think it's more that it looks better to wipe the graphics off and then back on again with the changed text. Looking at the second text strap there's no other animation that would look as good.
I think something like GMB do with their smaller text on their lower thirds, that animation would look quite good.

A simple wipe to the left of the second bar and the next text appears would suffice.
Something similar to how the old 2007 News 24 graphics worked... see 23 seconds in here...

Who would have thought that from the original schedule the only show still going (apart from Dan Wooton) would be Dewbs & Co? Michelle has really cut her teeth as a presenter on the channel and it is nice to see a somewhat unknown being given a chance and doing well out of it.

What has probably helped is that Dewbs & Co morphed into the current round table debate format which means the guests do most of the talking throughout the hour with Michelle basically prompting the questions for which they debate.
Personally I don't rate Michelle Dewberry as a broadcaster and is still there based on her ideology rather than her ability as a presenter and is easy to keep on that basis as it fills an hour before Farage starts.

I think Dewbs has done really well and, although her style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, it works for me and when she has the right guests it’s an excellent watch.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to To The Point now that Mercy's gone. I can't see Tom Harwood and Inaya Folarin Iman presenting it permanently as Tom's main focus is the political arena and Inaya's is the culture arena.
Come to think of it, with Colin Brazier, Alex Phillips, Dominic Frisby and now Mercy gone, I wonder if they will join TalkTV or even wait for something else to come along?

Dominic Frisby’s abrupt vanishing act was never explained or confirmed by anyone.
He’s still very active doing other stuff so I assume he just couldn’t fit it in any longer. The silence from both sides seems odd though. I always suspect a “falling out” when that happens.

Alex could go to TalkTV, she was a regular contributor there when it was talkRADIO and even co-presented shows occasionally, including with none other than GB News' Patrick Christys. Her politics would fit as well.
I can't see it for the others though.

To The Point is currently one of the weak points in the GB News schedule. It’s flat as a pancake.
It worked when it was Christys and Muroki, but it has been weak since.
Nobody obvious springs to mind either.
