Interesting how they’ve decided to have an actual studio audience for the normal shows
I suppose a studio in Melbourne is slightly easier to get to than an industrial estate on the outskirts of Bristol though!

Use them first and it'll look to Australians like they just tweaked the set after recording that first batch. I can't see them not airing at all - they wouldn't have needed to do TEN pilot episodes, you only need one to make sure the presenter can do his job, and to test out that endgame change. I can't imagine what they could have changed it to though. Brekkie, that ad you mentioned isn't on Youtube is it?
And how is two Chasers on the normal Chase format going to work? When the UK one has used multiple Chasers on things like Christmas specials, they'd had one face each contestant and then one do the Final Chase, allowing them to use all five Chasers in the same show (this was before Darragh "the Menace" Ennis debuted). The only time we see two together is on Beat the Chasers.

I suspect The Chase may alternate Chasers for the Head to Head rounds then perhaps have them alternate questions in the Final Chase.

A nice behind the scenes documentary now on Netflix of the making of Squid Games The Challenge which is well worth watch for any fans of the show or TV production in general.

This certainly happened in Wales, not sure elsewhere, but Mastermind didn't have any credits (or the interview with the winner during the credits) this evening. There was a tie-break, so the game went longer than usual, then Clive did his usual close, before a shot of the chair and then the endcard with the last bars of the theme playing over the last two shots.

Haven't watched yet, but I remember there was a similar case a few years back. I think it may have even been a three way tie, so the interview was canned.

Not unusual on a tie-break, not under Clive Myrie anyway.

How is a tie break done on Mastermind - is it on the buzzer, a sudden death situation or a round of musical chairs with the leather chair?

They don't have buzzers, it consists of a set of 5 questions for the whole tie breaker, without saying that they're right or wrong. Each player take turns (with those yet to play the tie breaker leave the studio), with most correct answers win, and if they get the same questions correct, they do it again until a winner is crowned.

Thanks - no wonder it eats into the credits then.

They sit round the chair, hold hands and sing Kum By Ya, followed by a chorus of Ging Gang Goolie. Whoever knows more of the lyrics to Ging Gang Goolie off the top of their head wins
