I think the final two independent Granada Reports looks are still pretty good. Yes the first one I think does look better and still holds up more than the later one, however I thought the later one actually had some pretty nice opening titles...

I thought the set was awful for this look, compared to the previous set when it first came back to Granada Reports, I don't know if it was just the backdrop that made it look worse? the titles were not bad apart from again i thought the final end card was just lazy.

Edit: TV Ark quite helpfully points in the right direction, it was a corporate package for a group of affiliates introduced in 1996 that somehow Granada ended up with:

Yeah.... nearly the graphics package was created specifically for the Hearst TV group. So you were nearly there. It wasnt an "off-the-shelf" package. So the graphics that was used on Granada was clearly created by someone at Granada or hired by Granada. As its you clearly see the Granada package isnt quite there. Nearly though. I also though it was interesting they specifically tried to emulate the WCVB Boston 5 logo with the NW arrow logo. That was a nice touch. The theme music wasnt quite there. But it was a nice try. I guess licensing IMAGE NEWS from Gari was a bit too expensive for Grenada.

A bit of a rarity today, the lunchtime NWT weather was presented live by Kay in the studio rather than down the line/recorded from Nottingham. The right thing to do given the severity of the weather in parts of the region.

Can someone remind me please? The end title music, was that originally NWT-exclusive? Or all regions? Or just some?

I think NWT were the first regional programme to use it, but it was commissioned and recorded at the same time

BBC Plymouth also had a bespoke version by David Lowe in the past, but it was before the current mix.
It formed part of their headline bed, main intro and closing. I think they mainly used the extended one for special news events.
However, it was lovely.
Someone from the blue place kindly sent me a copy at the time, but it seems to have appeared online now for the great unwashed!

A paywalled interview was given to Ouest France by both France Télévisions and Radio France’s Directors General in October. Although both channels will retain mostly separate scheduling, plans call for more dual-broadcasts of radio programs on television in a regional basis, and common coverage of regional events. The radio side has also plans for a new entertainment strand.

I was sure I read somewhere that NWT composed it themselves to stand-out (as NWT is want to do!)
I asked as I know at least one of the Look North variants now has it, so was curious. Thanks for advising

Absolutely loved this music pack, especially the extended close which you feature there, often used when they had a montage at the end of the programme.
It was a shame it was so short lived - from 2015-19. I was hoping the 2019 rebrand would bring that music (or a variation of it) to all regions, but unfortunately they decided to use the inferior South East Today music as a base. That being said, the 2019 mix was a vast improvement to the SET music it was based on.
