Using the BBC Radio Theatre is an excellent move.

This is very good and very watchable so far. A pleasant surprise.

I think it’s so watchable because there are no stupid 45 second time limits and you have a moderator who is actually letting the participants debate. The studio looks great as well.

Mishal Husain is doing a brilliant job. The format puts the onus and responsibility on distributing time to the moderator rather than a clock and it is far better (and far more common overseas).

Mishal Husain is a class act - the BBC is very lucky to have her.

Interesting to see the lower thirds on the debate appear to be fully 16:9 safe, rather than the usual 14:9 safe we’re used to on BBC News’ output.

When the presenter actually can let the candidates develop their points, it's a good/at the very least watchable debate programme.

It's a shame that Mishal presumably quite likes the Today role, because she is very much the gold-standard news presenter and interviewer in this country, but, for the general audience, just doesn't get enough outings. Would have been a fantastic choice for election nights and Sunday mornings.

Really nice titles for tonight's debate on the BBC.
