I think if they use that overnight it will be for additional content on ITVX. At most perhaps they might do news updates from there if appropriate.
I do hope ITV do something different with their main studio - it's not so much the look but I've felt since 2015 the "battle board" has actually been quite difficult to read on screen due to the angles used - it was much clearer in 2010.

If they continue with the 2015 - 2019 election style, we will have the main big desk, and the smaller desk replaced with chairs and a coffee table for guests.
When this happens, where does ITV News London come from? As they share Studio 1 with the national bulletins.
The news still comes from Studio 1 as normal but often from a different gallery.

BBC Sounds have launched an 'Election 2024' stream on the app.

Appears to be a mashup between Radio 4 for programmes like Today & PM as well as the likes of Nicky Campbell from 5 Live and also the audio from Newsnight & Sunday with Laura K.

See there is an Immigration Debate on C4 News tonight (from 6.30) and an NHS one next week.
Meanwhile having stood them up last week Farage gets a second chance at a sit down interview with the BBC on Friday and a week later they've added an extra Question Time featuring Reform and the Green Party, who are excluded on Thursday.

I'm sure it's legally 'fine' but the Conservative PPB which followed the local news literally opened with a stock 'globe' news report intro and had a strap across the bottom.

I’m also surprised they’re allowed to use Laura Trott’s government title - Chief Secretary to the Treasury - in that context in a PPB. But, as you say, what goes in them does seem completely unpoliced from a content or style point of view.

Which is of course why they start with an intro graphic and announcement, to seperate them from the other content on the channel.
I don't see a problem with using a fake news title sequence, it's one of those very generic ones you can download and it looks very different to that used by any UK news programme or channel. I suppose at a push it's BBC crossed with GB News. But also it's kind of spoofing a news bulletin, but it's also not as she's at a lecture.
What i find most shocking about it is how cheap it looks, I'd expect that sort of production value from a minor party, but from them. It's obviously not been shot by a professional camera operator, the framing is very awkward.
It's a far cry from the days of Saatchi and Saatchi

Left and right hand likely doing two different things! It was a 'normal' press conference and it does look like someone then got the idea to use it for the broadcast but couldn't use actual news footage so went with whatever they had!

It appears that the Tories filmed their Party Political Broadcast in SD, then used HD straps.
