I know this might be coming a bit of a fantasy post but could Studio E become a Radio studio for Radio 4 News and 5 Live News in London? Move the Today show, PM, Nicky Campbell (who I think presents his show from London sometimes?) and even World at one. It would make a more interesting Radio Studio design. The Newsroom would be the back drop instead of those random placed monitors. Wouldn't take much to put a radio desk in the middles and some fixed cameras around the place. Bet they could even have a gallery at one end of the studio like Radio 4 and 5 Live studios have. Could even have a few portrait screens to. Would also free up some space upstairs for when Radio 2 and 6Music move in. Studio E has always felt cramped to me because of the lower ceilings but it could work well as a Radio studio. BBC News would also be better in the bigger studios below.
