HM Queen Elizabeth Dies & Funeral Coverage

Nick is a constant target for trolls on Twitter. Water of a duck's back I'm sure. Let those with the energy to be vile and especially on a day like today to perhaps rot in hell?

(Sorry about the weird aspect ratio, not sure what happened there)

Its not the best wording, it could mean if you want to see the news pop on ITV. It should say 'There has been breaking news'.

Exactly the same as when Prince Philip died.

I do wish people would cease moaning about the lack of the use of Studio B at the BBC. It is rolling news, why shouldn't it come from what is ultimately the main studio. It's a 'newsroom'.

As mentioned earlier - it's unlikely enough rehearsals were done in B for it to run open-ended coverage. I'm sure the curtain will be unleashed as the coverage rolls on.... for days to come.

I think Studio B is so brand new they haven't even prepared the obit running orders, graphic setups, and performed tons rehearsals, hence why they stayed in Studio E.

I do hope they would use Studio C and the London nighttime backdrop though... I think it fits perfectly. What a shame they dropped it in replacement for a fake newsroom backdrop...

The ITV late regional news is rumoured to be cancelled. A weather forecast will take it place. I don’t know about NAT

A lot of this is 'the same' as when Prince Philip died. All of the UKTV channels have suspended adverts, Channel 4's channels have the constant banner at the bottom, etc. Although I do think over the coming days we will continue to see more of this, as the Queen's death is somewhat more monumental.

Twitter is an absolute sewer today. It really needs reform. Half an official platform embraced by businesses, broadcasters and public figures, half a hate filled platform where anyone can say anything no matter how rude.

Mary Nightingale and Chris Ship are doing a good job over on ITV as well.
