Technical Failure at the end of STV News tonight, Couldn't get the last report on and had to end the show abruptly with no end title music, just silence. Fair play to John for keeping calm.

Like the blue and red, but seems a bit barren - I suppose this is for flexibility with other programmes, but really looks like it could with a second presentation area (other than the tower).

Did they overspend on the LED screens and have to send back the furniture? It looks very empty

Well it’s just the same set up as the other regional/nations sets. But yes due to it being a bigger space could probably do with something else.

Yeah its simply the same as the others. 3 Screens and the large monolith freestanding screen and a curved sofa to the right. Nothing that different from others. Aside from the OSGs and its larger.

Be glad that the new set for Reporting Scotland isn't like the M6 news studio which is just a giant green screen room.

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge, but why's it taking that long? The set looks complete and the studio is fairly modern, do that many tech upgrades need to take place?
