I tend to think this is the flat version of the mast Tyne Tees 'logo', given Yorkshire's obsession in associating TTTV with a mast:

I think you're probably right.

I remember the launch of Network North as I lived up there at the time. The reference to Bilsdale was always rather odd, because they even admit it's from an industrial unit in Billingham.

Bless, it didn't last long!  YTTT were doing lots of tinkering at the time with the middle part of the two franchises, almost trying to split it into three. Hence the northern half eventually got lumbered with C3NE for a while, although that wasn't the reason why I moved away.

I've been looking for a decent capture of the NN titles for ages and never found one. So thank you.
