I have finally spotted that promo, It could will be an ident on Saturday night. I have also just spotted Ch5 have got the xmas promos already out.

The Christmas promos have been airing a while now. The films promo looked promising, but then there was a promo for a new programme that used the past few years' Christmas design. So I'm not expecting anything new.

One thing I've noticed with Channel 5's presentation these past few days, is that apart from programme-related idents, all the other elements of the package have been restricted to the dark blue version. The other colours appear to have been rested. Even the Christmas-themed promo for Lidl v F&M is the same.

That Doctor Who trailer - complete with Milkshake clock. Note the slight error in the 5 logo.

Channel 5+1's Milkshake logo lasted at least an hour and a half longer than on the main channel, finally coming off during the Entertainment News section half-way through the movie, A Fiance for Christmas.

I'd have thought it was pre-programmed to come on and off at certain points during the Milkshake strand similar to how the 5 logo doesn't appear on screen until it's started up

Channel 5's Christmas bumpers are now airing - and, as expected, are the same as previous years.

Is the Paramount era almost over? It seems that Paramount could be taken over, and the new owners might dispose of the TV stations, meaning CBS, Channel 5 and Network 10 would all be up for sale.

I wonder if it got sold, the new owners would keep Ben Frow? I really don't think another overhaul in image and programming would help the channel.
