I seem to remember it was mainly only one person who did that, and they popped up in most of the pres site threads to repeat the same thing. You can probably guess what username they're posting on here these days as! However full respect to someone so resolutely sticking to their guns on such things in this modern world of flip-flopping.
I can't imagine Ben's account disappearing for good too, but likely will just take some time to get re-established again on a new one, as I believe they're still quite active. Just like how every time they killed off one of our twenty free Tripod accounts back in the early pres site days, we'd be back with another one within 48 hours depending entirely on how long it took to reupload everything over dial-up. The bigger risk with the YT accounts tends to be with those ones where the uploader added some great and niche (IE non CBBC/CBeebies/other kids channel) stuff years back then moved on. When those accounts get nixxed by whatever new algorithm changes come in over the years, something really gets lost.
