There was no mention in Colin Weston's continuity announcement that the Queens Speech will be contained within Corrie. And with an unrecognisable announcer introducing it, it almost seems as if it could be a parody.

That would have been Charles Foster voicing the announcement into the speech itself.

Almost feels like it was a last minute afterthought to at least separate both programmes.
