Noteworthy that the trailer uses the title sequence graphics originally seen from 2005-10. I wonder if that will be used on the episodes themselves. The style of that trailer evokes memories from circa 2009!

They clearly don't want to give anything away for the second special, Wild Blue Yonder. The footage that's been made available - and even the title - give away absolutely nothing. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

One of the teasers had part of the 2008 theme in it, and now we’ve seen the 2008 titles background. I strongly believe the specials will have updated versions of both, before a new theme and sequence for Gatwa’s tenure.

Probably. RTD told DW Magazine he wants that theme ''but bigger and with more piano''.  And for the next series Murray Gold said he likes the idea of each episode having a different interpertation of the theme tune.

Sounds reminiscent of Series 7a but with the music rather than the visuals changing.

Yeah, I can see Tennant's episodes using the 2008-2010 OP with the logo swapped out at the end. Then Gatwa gets something completely new.

Im not fond of the titles tbh. The Giggle, assuming that is what the regeneration episode will be called, doesn't scream 'end of the 14th Doctor' to me. Now, if the 3 specials have an overarching title, then that will be different. Not knowing anything about the specials, a title like 'The ________ Saga' would be good. with a relevant name for the theme of the specials.

On the idea of the theme, I would like something reminiscent of the 6th Doctor's Trial of a Timelord theme, albeit orchestrated. I really dug the darker mood of it.

Something like that, but progressivly more sparse

Another new cast member announced. Interestingly, she played Suzie Costello in series 1 of Torchwood and was killed off twice.

I'm sure it has virtually nothing to do with the TV production team, but I'm a little surprised this actually made it through:

Bonnie Langford will return to Doctor Who as Sixth & Seventh Doctor companion Mel Bush.
It has been rumoured online for a while that she will be part of the rumoured UNIT-based spin-off (and was part of the companions get together at the end of the last special), which the RTD quote below could allude to.
