Based on the clip, it's definitely not my favourite version, but I guess it is in-keeping with the style of other big fantasy themes over the last decade. Personally, I found that Gold's first versions were the right mix of original elements and orchestra and, if you were updating it, feel something more in the Britell Succession modern classical vibe could work nicely, but I suspect they want a more bombastic, eventy theme for a new bombastic, eventy-era.
Feels like a mix of the Series 4 and Series 5 theme to me. Murray Gold's style is big and bombastic, and this is certainly that. I don't think its my favourite version of the theme, as I love the Third Doctor's theme (Though I do have a soft spot for the theme they used for Jodie Whittaker's Doctor)
