Doctor Who

That misses the worst mistake they made: airing one of the parts of The Monster of Peladon in place of the relevant part of The Curse of Peladon, to which the former was a sequel from much later in Pertwee’s run (how they managed this I’m not sure, the later episode was from season 11 and had the diamond logo and “time tunnel” titles that would be more closely associated with Tom Baker).

Quote:TG4 was supplied with a wrong tape when they came to screen The Curse of Peladon; an episode of the sequel, The Monster of Peladon, aired instead of Part 2 or 3 (it was one of the middle two episodes according to eye witnesses).

All scripts from 2005 onwards, and for all spin-offs and animations, have been published.

There is a few unaired things, like the audition script fro the 15th Doctor, are also there.

More casting announced for Season 1/Series 14 in the upcoming Doctor Who Magazine. And Russell ever being the tease, "Bear in mind, we've still got big surprises to come!".

This sounds like an early draft of an episode synopsis.

Internet sleuths think they have discovered that Steven Moffat will be writing this year's Christmas special. It has been rumoured for a while that he has written an upcoming episode.

I'm not sure what to think about his likely return. No doubt that he produced some fantastic epsidoes in his own tenure and before that (his episodes from each of the first four series are one of, if not, the best epsiode from each of those series. But should the show be bringing everyone back from the past, or try and encourage newer names to write for the show regularly?

You get the feeling there is an attitude that Chris Chibnall's era caused so much damage to Doctor Who canon, that RTD is using the writers from the 2005-2017 era back to shore up the damage done

The quality of the writing was appalling at times during Chibnall's era, he really gave Jodie's 13th doctor a lot of exposition/plot dumping of material, where she literally talked so much and of course his choices of stories and plots are questionable, along with the lack of character development

This does feel like fan service and damage limitation and repair work happening by RTD

To be honest, whatever one thinks of the last era (and whatever RTD himself might think of it) I don't really think anything happening now is some kind of 'response' to it.

Beside anything else, the three of them (RTD/Moffat/Chibnall) had a night out in Salisbury the other day.
