That appears to confirm that ITVX will have ITV News on demand content, rather than an ITV News FAST channel.

Yes there will be a 90 second bulletin regularly updated throughout the day, plus news stories (a mix of those from TV bulletins and specifically curated for X), explainers, on demand weather forecasts and clips from long-form. 

ITVX won’t be commissioning content - simply repackaging stuff that’s already gathered for TV and digital.

The full rehearsals began yesterday.

Cheers for that, Phil. Good to see what ITVX will 'feel' like. 

Seems a bit pointless that they've gotten Mary to record that intro to the news summary that is then voiced by someone else. I can only imagine it's to draw viewers in with a familiar face.

Yesterday evening, they had Rageh record the whole headline bulletin, then after midnight it was updated with a voiceover journalist. This morning was just a voiceover too. It seems to be updated around every hour during the day.

The headlines don't seem to be uploaded to ITVX browser users, instead redirecting them to the dedicated ITV News website which doesn't upload them.

Even the bulletin that follows News At Ten would be nice…

I suspect if the main Regional bulletins do appear on ITVX at some point, we may see more Regional News cutbacks on linear TV…ITV have already said they want amendments to how their PSB obligations are managed for a digital age (which makes sense). Being able to catch the Regional News later could encourage a few viewers to the streaming service…or not.
