It was better than what they had at Studio N at Piccadilly Gardens, which was essentially a former board room above a NatWest Bank. I can't find the YT video showing the tour of it.
I think they'll be happy to get the IKEA flat pack set, although why someone chose such an oddly shaped office space to create a TV studio could perhaps be down to the strength of the beer in that part of the country.

All the time when I used to live down there and pop into city and arrive in Piccadilly Gardens by bus. A bit of TV and radio history was right under one's nose.
