They might not be exactly the next ones, but they've indeed started using the new newsroom:

That could be some older systems and depending on pay tv companies machines as well.
Of course! I misunderstood the whole thing. I thought they were referring to a changed channel name, which I now see is silly
A new programme title makes a lot more sense in that context.

Insiders at a Reddit local TV subforum are being told that the launch will happen as soon as next Monday. The biggest draw to the rebrand will be the retirement of the Eyewitness News brand. The CBS News Philadelphia brand will be used in its place, signaling the beginning of a new chapter for them.
In the meantime, their still-new set has switched to the new brand in their main desk.
And they're now using a weird mix of CBS News Philadelphia, plus the CBS 3 brands, on the previous O&O mandate:

KYW has also been using a dual on screen bug during newscasts for a while too.

The thing is that WRC's studios at Nebraska Avenue have been in recent years on a massive remodeling process, thanks to NBC News' DC bureau moving to expanded space at the 400 North Capitol office building, and therefore allowing WRC and its sister Telemundo station WZDC to occupy the entire studio building. They are still using their existing set, so, they are moving to a new studio (the former Meet the Press studio?) and vacate the existing one they are using.

KDKA is airing a special on Monday about their newsroom remodel; the special, called
KDKA2.0, will air exclusively on their streaming channel. For the special, KDKA has reunited a number of historic anchors and reporters from the station, including longtime anchor Stacy Smith (who retired from his duties in 2021), reporters Paul Martino and Jon Burnett, consumer reporter Lynn Sawyer, retired photographer Michael Chalik, reporter Mary Robb Jackson and other testimonials from the station's history. Possibility of adopting that day the CBS O&O graphics?

The previous news studio has been taken offline to prepare final touches for the move. This Sunday, all of WRC's newscasts came from the control room. The tweet also confirms the new studio will launch tomorrow.

On the CBS Weekend News this evening, KCAL News reporter Joy Benedict was credited as being a "KCBS-TV Reporter" rather than the recently relaunched KCAL News brand which is on both stations.

I'd expect that to be the case. KCAL is a SoCal institution but not known in the rest of the nation. KCBS is what would be expected elsewhere as the west coast flagship O&O.

The new studio went on air today. Worth noting too that the space was divided into two halfs, as WZDC might also move soon there.
