American News Presentation

The top news below the TV section is clear on large TVs but can’t imagine small ones. The second column showing most read articles isn’t needed and refreshes way too often, the graphics are good. Finally the third column showing the stock data  graphs is fine.

It’s like we were back when CNBC HD+ launched. But even that was okay.
The 2nd column also shows a TV schedeule of their guests  at times too, and more stock data.

I know this is what Bloomberg too but that just looks a mess - the ad version looks much easier to read with it not being overloaded with largely unnecessary information.

KSNF in Joplin, Missouri (NBC) got a new set and a (slightly) new brand back in early May: The former was a standard Nexstar setup, while its channel number is also included in the latter (with the updated Peacock if I'm not mistaken?):

CNBC Europe is HD.

Thats a huge upgrade for such small market. Also speaks to how the prices for studio tech has really come down over year making sets like these possible for these minisule markets like Joplin. Thought there is glaring lighting issues at their stand-up positions by the video walls. Yeesh.

Some Fox owned stations getting another new set, whilst KDFW still has the 2006 standardized set going strong.

Also today, with FOX News Channel's new line up, they are no long live at 12AMET with "The Five" getting a rerun there. Must have been the lawsuit budget cuts. They used to be live from 4AMET TO 1AMET , daily.. now it's down to 5am to 12amet.

Over on NBC, WVVA in Bluefield is "feeling brand-new", as the former Quincy station followed their sister at WGEM in taking the new GrayOne graphics package:

I’m more astonished by the content of those clips, that the law in Florida has banned slot machines yet now allows people to carry a gun without a permit!

As for the set, a nice upgrade on the previous… more evolution than revolution.

Dude, it's Florida. As someone who lives in Canada, I'm as surprised as Sonic the Hedgehog can swim. In short, not at all.
