So the past few weeks MSNBC’s Jose Diaz Balarts Reports has been coming from a virtual studio. I guess the main studio which is used for a sports show may have been getting any for the World Cup and the launch of a Virtual Studio 1A. Normally when he’s in Miami he sits in front of a chroma key and there’s blocking around his shoulders.
I’d personally remove the desk and not have JDB sit at the small anchor seat where the smaller video wall is OTS. I’d replace it with a new desk that can be zoomed in.
Stumbled upon this: Under Scrutiny with Jane Wallace, a current affairs show on the then-upstart FX, in 1995 after the OJ verdict. Possibly the only recording of the programme on Youtube so far: youtu.be
Also, the TOTH news headlines on the network in late 1995: youtu.be
And an earlier, looser one on 1994 in this compilation: youtu.be

Wasn't sure where to post this. But it is an unused closing sequence for the CBS Evening News from the 2022 package - it is a remix of the last 20 seconds of the 1988 closing titles/bumper 'c'.
It's just a shame the same 5 tracks have been used since the launch of this package, according to the composers there are at least 30 cuts! Outside of the music and the set, CBS has very little going for it's network offering.

I noticed that Nexstar had sent a reporter to cover the 1 year before the Olympics in Paris this morning.
WAVY-TV's Marielena Balouris was doing lives across the Nexstar NBC afflilate morning shows and had a WFLA '8' branded mic when she did a hit for them.

Makes sense, as NBC are the US rights holders of the Olympic Games.
WBAL (and I assume other Hearst NBC affiliates) has started using their Olympic bug. This goes against the standard NBC practice where in summers logo launches in the new year and winter in the beginning of the fall season.
Atlanta News First (WANF) morning anchor Rob Hughes presented his final morning show for the Gray flagship CBS affiliate this morning, he's off to ABC7 (WLS-TV) in Chicago.
