I wasn't much of a resident of the Blue place, so I hadn't seen that before. It's nice to see a contemporary discussion, even before the story broke and people thinking it was out of respect for 9/11, which isn't as strange a suggestion as it looks now.
Worth noting the original 2002 printing of the tie-in Millionaire Moments book mentions "The Major" very briefly, saying they know there's speculation around it all, but they can't say anything. Later printings after the court action talk about the Ingram case as Celador presented it, but whether it was written at the time and removed on legal advice or written specifically for future editions isn't clear. I don't remember it being particularly insightful as the ghostwriter is more intent on keeping things light, in keeping with the rest of the book
