That’s because they are and always have been.
I understand that but it seems a bit odd to call yourself number 1 because in your (Global's) eyes, you think your biggest competitor isn't a hit music station. It's that type of thing that needs to be declared by OFCOM or an outsider, not the parent company of the station.
What does that say about a channel if it scares fish? Just talk me through that.
