You'd think so, but Gosling is one of the few BBC News channel presenters to be listed in the BBC pay disclosures - which suggest she is in the band earning £155,000 - £159,999. But the Deadline article claim the new presenter role is in a pay band going up to £230,000 - which would be around a 40% pay increase.
