[*]Both old and new versions of the BBC News logos
[*]The new all-Reith logo features 'BBC' lettering that appears slightly too thin, while the 'NEWS' text appears unusually heavy
[*]And for no reason at all, someone then added a weird 'BBC NEWS BREAKING' graphic at the bottom - using the old logo - which looks like a really poor mock-up of the BBC News lower-thirds.

Looking through the @BBCBreaking Twitter feed (which itself inexplicably still uses the old Gill/Reith interim logo), it doesn't look like this style of tweet has been used before, so one can only wonder why this mess appeared today. (And one can only hope it never appears again.)
I wouldn't be surprised if these tweets and images are automatically generated and someone applied a new automation on top of the old automation (or vice versa)
