During this time, Sky News was carrying live a joint defence and security announcement by the US President, Australian Prime Minister, and British Prime Minister.

Back on BBC News, World News America started and led on the collapse of SVB Bank. They didn't carry the three world leaders' press conference live at all. A bit unusual.

Shame it didn't finish at 20:40. Then we could have had TWO showings of the guide dogs feature tonight.
