Finding an excuse like this to let go of Martine over a storm in a teacup being whipped up by the BBC's biggest political detractors is too convenient for BBC management.
Well then if Martine is cleared it should be the BBC Management that took her off air that should be let go-with their P45's.
Don’t be silly. Suspension is not an accusation of guilt. This is common practice in all industries when an investigation is taking place.
FWIW - yes, she seems to have been pushing it lately. No, that wouldn’t be used as an excuse to get rid of her. The people she works with (and under) may well broadly support her views.
