I don't think BBC One London HD has launched yet. However isn't BBC London News on BBC One HD at 6:30 these days?

It hasn't launched on satellite just yet, but it exists - all the regions have been running in HD on certain platforms for many months - and the London news will be in HD on there. I assume the limited availability is why noone has captured anything!

London isn't on BBC One HD nationally, apart from during the headlines.

And on the NC during Breakfast. 0627 is full screen with other bulletins signed.

I've just noticed they've popped up on the Sky EPG and the labels look rather messy and squashed.

What's wrong with

[*]BBC One E HD
[*]BBC One EM HD

People will know it's their region.  I am hoping that my region just shows as 'BBC One SW HD' in two weeks.

I see that “BBC One WM HD” has appeared on the Sky HD and Q EPGs today. Odd they chose not to go for ‘WMidHD’ when East Midlands is ‘EMidHD’. There doesn’t seem to be much consistency in the naming.

If the channel names that briefly appeared on the Freesat test EPG (or whatever it was that was linked to earlier on this thread) are stil the same, you’ll be pleased to know, Stuart, that you should get ‘SW HD’. But those in the North West will get the ugly ‘NWstHD’. South East should get ‘SE HD’. Go figure.

Good to see the rollout continuing though. BBC Alba HD and BBC One Y&L HD are also now on the Sky EPGs as of today.

The entries on the Freesat Test EPG are still there, but oddly Freesat  got "WMidHD" and "Yk&LHD" instead of "WM HD" and "Y&L HD" like on Sky Huh

Hopefully BBC One London HD will begin testing soon, I’m excited to finally have local news in HD and on 101 on Sky Q - it’s been a long time coming. I do wonder what they’ll label it as - BBC One Lon HD?

I was thinking that is their choice rather than go back to the 'LDN' gimmick. Dodgy

I rather liked the LDN branding back in the day. Might just be me though...

Manchester tried something similar with their BBC radio station. That didn't work either, in any of their incarnations.   Confused
