I'm sure there's a clip somewhere of Ed doing a late bulletin on a Christmas or New Year bank holiday. I think about 1997.
Another rare find - Moira Stuart doing the 9 on a Saturday night in November 1989. AFAIK, it was rare for anyone other than Buerk/Sissons/Lewis/Witchell to do the late bulletin after the 1988 relaunch.
