And the half-hour Maori bulletin, Te Karere, which airs at 4pm. And maybe the 5.30pm news on Sky Open, provided they can find a new producer once Newshub goes.
Whakaata Māori (Maori Television) also produces a nightly news at 6.30pm.
There are one or two local channels that produce their own local news programmes, though I believe one station recently closed in Dunedin (TVNZ ditched regional news by 1990 - save for their own flirtation with local TV channels that briefly lasted in the mid-90s)
As far as surviving current affairs programmes on TVNZ, there's Seven Sharp - what could (charitably) be described as their answer to The One Show (co-presented by Jeremy Wells, a one-time Chris Morris wannabe who previously did a satire called Eating Media Lunch), the Sunday morning political programme Q&A and a Kiwi version of 20/20.
