Some big news in the international roll-out of the new Max streaming service: the service will be still known as HBO Max in the Benelux region; this followed a lawsuit and a long discussion with the Dutch PSB organisation Omroep MAX (part of the NPO system and targeting the senior audience). However, the region will still get the "improved" offering and interface.

The global roll-out, however, has been delayed: still starting in the Latin American region, but now with a starting date of Q1 2024 (from the original plans of Q4 2023), followed by the European markets HBO Max covers (the Nordics, Spain, Portugal, CEE and Benelux) shortly thereafter.

Additionally, an UK launch is eventually on the works: during the RTS conference, Andrew Georgiou told the launch of TNT Sports is part of a long-term plan to "to provide greater clout to WBD’s offering in the country" in preparation for an eventual roll-out around 2025/2026 (when the long-running existing deal with Sky ends).
