The ITN operation is low budget and has a tiny on-air team, which is why you'll regularly see correspondents cover the main 5pm bulletin. They also provide a short lunchtime bulletin and headlines at 6.55, 7.55 and 8.58pm on weekdays. They don’t do the 8.58 bulletin anymore I don’t think?
A heavy amount of their current affairs hours is covered by the topical discussion shows Jeremy Vine, Storm Huntley and Alexis Conran which are scheduled from mid-morning to lunchtime, also produced by ITN from the same studio as 5 News.
