UPDATE
The red notice at the bottom of the screen was changed this evening, with the phone number removed but leaving the rest of the wording in place.
This is the 5th version of the closure notice. The phone line is still in use at time of writing

Notice only

Do we know precisely when the BBC SD switch off on satellite will occur? Looking online all I can see is a vague "early 2024", which I'm guessing probably means before April when the next financial year begins.

The date I've heard is March time, so yes presumably before the end of the financial year

The switch to 1/.803H was on 8 March 2023, and 12.422H was switched off in 13 March
The final SD-HD switch was on 22 February I think as South East vegan in HD on 21 February.
Two weeks later tp37 was switched off.
So possibly early march at a guess but nobody knows yet.
Thanks for clarifying what we know so far.

The shorter on-screen notice is used after 2000. It had phone number during The One Show but not during Dragons Den

Looks as if I am right. The red notice now during Football Focus has no phone number.

BBC have named the date
This is shown during ALL programmes from today on BBC1 Nightlight
The others will close on the same day I have been advised by the helpline, but no captions so far on the others

I don't think I'm being totally pedantic here, but they haven't worded that very well. It makes it sound like they're coming off all other platforms.
'BBC TV and radio services on satellite will only be available via HD-enabled equipment' would be a better way of phrasing it.
