As for 2023, from least to most out there:

1. The Coronation of Charles III will probably be in May or June, and the BBC coverage will be the most watched. ITV and Sky News will air it, but Channels 4 and 5 won't bother airing it.

2. Channel 4's new idents will follow the news safe ident they have, in having the full 4 symbol back. Expect them to come alongside the full scale rebrand of Channel 4 under a single name, probably late in 2023.

3. BBC News, as a whole, will get new graphics that better suit the new studio introduced in 2022. The red will stay, but may have some extra colour (hopefully blue, maybe some orange or yellow). The BBC blocks symbol will feature more heavily.

4. We will finally get BBC One HD Regions, with no more red screen.

5. I'm in agreement with @Cable. Sky's HD Package will become standard, and not cost extra.

6. ITV News FAST channel gets launched on ITV X, and will include some exclusive programming, but mainly be without presenters, just reports, some weather graphics to break things up, and maybe extended Lunchtime and News at Ten programmes. ITVX itself will be ITV's main priority, over its channels.

7. CITV gets rebranded, but keeps the logo its had for a decade, albeit with the new font.

8. Sky announces that it will lose the rights to air first run episodes of new seasons of The Simpson from Season 36 onwards. Instead, the new stuff airs on Disney+, and Sky gets it after 6 months-1 year of exclusivity. This also affects Channel 4's FTA rights.

9. Freeview and Freesat rebrand to show they're part of the same service.

10. GB News closes.

11. UKTV will fully move Free to Air.

12. Big Brother's relaunch on ITV 2 will start off with high ratings, but many older fans will be put off by the inclusion of Influencers, Z List online Celebrities, and the Love Island aesthetic.
