It's been like that for a while now. There are also regular stand-ins on Wales at Six.

ITV News London was the first ITV regional bulletin to go solo towards the end of London Tonight.

Interesting to see that a job advertisement for the role of BBC Wales political editor has been published. I haven't seen/heard anything, or can find anything to suggest, that Felicity Evans is leaving the role.

Felicity Evans was referred to as 'Money Editor' on the radio as morning, so it does appear she has moved on from political editor.

A very energetic intro there, something the current BBC News lacks.

Gareth Lewis will be the new BBC Wales Political Editor, succeeding Felicity Evans.

Claire Summers was back presenting BBC Wales Today at lunchtime - barely a week and a half after her quite muted departure from Radio Wales Breakfast, replaced by Dot Davies and James Williams as part of their new daytime schedule.

Good to see her on TV bulletins again.

And she was the reporter on the lead story of the 6:30 bulletin (the COVID inquiry). Must be well over a decade since she last was a reporter on a major news story (long-time sports news presenter/reporter before she went to radio of course).
