Dr. Phil is to be setting up a new cable channel, under the name of Merit Street Media. Looking at the domain information, their site is registered by Trinity Broadcasting Network. Will McGraw be gobbling the existing network, or be a major lease in programming hours?

Is there any information on if Dr Phil's new show would run under the same format as his old one?

Looking at the initial press release, it's much of the same. If there's something new, I'd imagine him whining more on the loss of 'traditional family values' etc. I didn't associate him with hard-hitting interviews, but apparently that's another part he'll keep in the new show.
