Blimey, the bizzy visiting Marie and Michelle had as much empathy as a house brick!

With all of Marie going round blaming other people (especially Barry) for Petra's disappearance, it's fair to say her and her foul attitude had a lot to do with it too.

Looks like STV have extended their deal as the end date of Jan 2024 has now been replaced with episodes being available for "over 3 years".

Assuming "over 3 years" takes them to 4 years at 5 eps a week that is about a decade into the show.

If the 5 eps/week is due to "remastering" (digitisation) taking time, presumably we're going to get to a point when that can go away when we hit episodes which are already digitised? Maybe toward the end of the era Living showed or the few years Sky One showed around 2001/2?

End credits on episode 136 clearly static screenshots taken from the scrolling credits- possible tape damage?

One of the episodes from the last batch also had a lot of visible tape damage in the first part.

Really strange thing on episode 145, towards the end of the episode just before Marie and Michelle's dad comes down after locking himself in the bathroom, what looks like a chicken walks past outside the back door. While it's hard to see exactly what it is thanks to a combination of only being on screen for a second, being in the distance and the not brilliant quality of the filmised and compressed 1980s SD video, it really doesn't look like anything else you'd expect to see in a back garden like a cat or pigeon, and it has the right shape and walks like a chicken. But why there'd be a chicken wandering round suburban Liverpool is a question and a half! There had been chickens on Brookside as the Dixons had some at one point, but their arrival is years away.
