A few weeks ago there was an occasion when BBC London began much more abruptly than usual, and Scotland and Wales both caught a quick glimpse of the London presenter before their programmes started.
Additionally, during the headlines sequence, the final national headline caption can still be seen sliding away when the London presenter has appeared on screen. Sportsday continues to be the default at lunchtime.
